Hooking2Hockey [Minkey/ Cubs (years 1 – 4]
We are excited to welcome you to the Lions Hockey family. Suburban Lions Hockey Club actively supports participation for children during the early years of primary school.
Minkey comprises Pre-Primary to Year 2 players in a 7-a-side match on a 1/4 pitch. The Year 3-4 age group (Cubs) play a 9-a-side game on a larger pitch as a means of preparing that age group for graded Club hockey fixtures.
Suburban Lions will be playing in the Westside Wolves MINKEY competition, which is held on Saturday mornings at College Park, Princess Road Claremont. The 11-game season commences on the 4th May and concludes on 17th August. Registration closes on the 20th of April.

Once all registrations are received, teams will be formed. You will be notified of the team your child has been allocated to. If you have nominated a preferred team, this will be taken into account. Please ensure you communicate with the Club or School Coordinator if there is anything that you don’t understand or require assistance with please contact our friendly team at Lions at secretary@suburbanlions.org.au.
*No teams are necessary, as this is a skills-based session.
