Murray started playing minkey with Subs in 1984 and continued playing through till U17’s. He is now living vicariously through his four children who have also all been playing for Suburban Lions since minkey. We love the family and community spirit at Lions and look forward to many more years of hockey with the club.

Welcome to Phong Pham from Acton Belle Property Dalkieth Cottesloe and Boubar Café in Nedlands!
We are thrilled to introduce Phong, the newest sponsor of our club. Phong's commitment to building strong relationships with sporting clubs and giving back to the community aligns perfectly with our values. As an individual deeply involved in both the property market and the café business, Phong brings a wealth of experience and dedication to our partnership.
Phong has over 25 years of experience in customer service, with a distinguished career as a practising pharmacist for close to a decade and the hospitality sector, he has spend most of his young life working weekends at his uncle’s supermarkets. This wide and extensive background has equipped him with unique problem solving abilities and allows him to stack his range of skills to ensure smooth and hassle-free real estate transactions. Phong's strong work ethic and dedication to excellence are rooted in his early life experiences. Arriving in Australia as a political refugee in the 1980s and with the tragic loss of his father at the refugee camp, Phong has had to overcame significant hardships early on in his life, which have shaped his resilient and determined character and a never-give-up attitude.
Professional Ventures:
Acton Belle Property Dalkeith Cottesloe: Phong's involvement in the property market through Acton Belle Property Dalkeith Cottesloe showcases his expertise in the local property market. He is well versed through his professional and personal experience in small to large property renovations, new architecturally designed builds, property subdivisions and medium density property developments. His advice is always individually client-focused but with a commercial approach, ensuring that each transaction is handled with the utmost care and professionalism ensuring a premium outcome for his clients.
Boubar Café: As the owner of Boubar Café in Nedlands, Phong has created a welcoming space for the community to enjoy. The café reflects his passion for hospitality and his commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As you can see, is a people person and he just loves being involved in anything that is people-related. He has mentioned to me that in a world where everything is so transactional, it's nice to have old fashioned customer service values, as he believes this is where friendships and relationships are built. We are currently working on a discount system for all members of the hockey club. So stay tuned!
Community Engagement:
Since becoming a father to two beautiful daughters, Phong's increasing desire to give back to the community is evident in his active support for local sporting clubs and local primary schools. By becoming a sponsor, Phong aims to strengthen community ties and support the development of local sports. His sponsorship is not just a business move but a heartfelt contribution to promoting healthy, active lifestyles and fostering community spirit as he believes allowing kids to belong to a caring community is essential to help them develop the skills to take on an ever-challenging world. |
