Tregonning Clubrooms Busy Bee
We have a big year ahead with the club celebrating 100 years – 1922 – 2022, and we want to make sure our clubrooms look great for us and our visitors.
We have plans to give Melvista and Shenton a Suburban Lions flavour, but most of all we want to make Tregonning and the Max Brown Pavillion look their best.
The fields at Tregonning are looking the best they have in years and ex-President Bill Mackenzie has been working with the council to ensure there aren’t any last-minute slip-ups that make the fields unplayable, like previous years. Fingers crossed!
The clubrooms have been used as a storage shed for too long and we need to sort that out, clean up the surrounds and give it a spruce up.
We have a busy bee planned for 8:30am to 12:30pm on Saturday 26 Mar 2022.
If you are happy painting, please bring some brushes and/or rollers and roller trays.
If you prefer gardening, bring a shovel and a rake and maybe a wheelbarrow.
If you just want to do heavy lifting bring some gloves.
Please RSVP to Rox at admin@subs100.org
Limestone Blocks Donations
Do you have any unused limestone blocks lying around that you would like to donate to the club?
We want to tidy up the entry and build a low wall out of the existing blocks and your donation. Please drop off at Tregonning before 26 Mar 2022. Make sure you don’t obstruct the carpark or walkways or damage any of the trees, shrubs or plants!
If you need some blocks picked up, you may be able to twist my arm to pick up. Contact Rox at admin@subs100.org
